As part of its work, the NSMC launched the online case study database ShowCase in April 2009, which provides an evidence base for social marketing and shows that the approach can bring about measurable changes in behaviour. In 2010/11, the NSMC will be adapting the case studies on ShowCase to make them more practical for users, and compiling findings and lessons from across related case studies.
The NSMC is looking to procure research services to:
- Carry out primary research to help update and enhance existing ShowCase case studies; and
- Synthesise information available on ShowCase case studies addressing a specific topic area and/or target audience to produce practical best practice guidance.
