Social determinants

The NSMC was commissioned to deliver strategic and social marketing services to aid domestic and European efforts in tackling the Social Determinants of Health (SDH). Key partners in this work include the Department of Health, World Health Organisation, Eurohealthnet and Business in the Community.

SDH Film Project

The NSMC developed three short films that outline effective SDH interventions taking place in Glasgow, Copenhagen and Murska Sobota. The SDH programmes highlighted in the films were chosen following a comprehensive research based evaluation of over 20 domestic and international SDH interventions.
